No! We do not offer eye exams, but we accept valid prescriptions from any local or international certified optometrist. If your pupillary distance (PD) is not included in your prescription, we can measure it at our fitting station.

How long do prescription eyeglasses take?
Each pair of glasses is made up for your individual prescription. Once we have reviewed your prescription and have all the details we need, we can process your order. Your glasses will usually be ready within 2-14 business days (Mon-Fri) from order placement, depending on your prescription and what you've ordered.
Each prescription is reviewed by our dispensing team before processing to ensure it is correct and in date. If there are any problems, they'll get in touch with you. Incomplete or incorrect information will unfortunately cause delays to our standard completion time.
How do I submit my prescription?
A valid copy of your prescription can be uploaded when scheduling your eyewear fitting (snap a photo or scan it) or select to bring it to your appointment.

What do I need to order prescription eyeglasses?
Simply book your eyewear fitting and bring a valid copy of your prescription, we will help you choose a frame that matches your face and lenses that best suit your vision type. Once your prescription and frames are approved, our lens lab will get your order ready.
How do I read my prescription?

My prescription is very strong, will you fill it?
We make single vision glasses with a Sphere (SPH) of up to +/- 10 diopters and a Cylinder (CYL) of up to +/- 6 diopters, and progressives with a maximum sphere of +/- 8.00 and a cylinder of +/- 4.00.
Do you have a prescription of +/- 6.00 diopters or higher? Then you're required to upgrade to Supreme Lenses for an additional {supremeLensesPrice}, so we can offer you the lenses that best suit your needs.
Here is our standard range for optical frame lenses:
SPH (for near-sightedness/short-sightedness)
We fill prescriptions with a sphere (SPH) value between -8.00 to +8.00 online, and -10.00 to +10.00 in store.
If you do not have astigmatism, the SPH will be the only value on your prescription (no CYL or AXIS).
Thin (1.6) lenses are required if the SPH is between -4.00 and +4.00.
Very thin (1.67) lenses are required if the SPH is between -6.00 and +6.00.
Ultra thin (1.74) lenses are required if the SPH is between -8.00 and +8.00.
CYL & AXIS (for astigmatism)
Our basic prices include prescriptions with a CYL value between -3.00 and +3.00. If your cylinder is -3.25 or +3.25 and stronger, the order must be placed in store with one of our opticians and incurs an additional fee of $200.00 per frame.
If you have astigmatism in either eye, your prescription will indicate cylinder (CYL) and axis (AXIS) values.
ADD (for progressive lenses)
We fill prescriptions with an ADD value between +0.75 to +4.00.
This value indicates that you need progressive lenses.
PRISM
We fill prescriptions with a prism of up to 6.00 diopters combined (horizontal + vertical).
Prescriptions with a prism can be fulfilled in-store only. Book an appointment with one of our opticians here.

WHAT IS A PUPILLARY DISTANCE MEASUREMENT (PD)?
Pupillary distance (shortened on your prescription to "PD") is the distance between the center of both pupils in millimeters. The PD is required by our optical technicians to fit your lenses accurately and achieve the most effective and comfortable outcome for you. Any optometrist who has made glasses for you will have your PD on file, but we can also measure it for you.
What is the best way to cleaN AND CARE my lenses?
We recommend always keeping your glasses or sunglasses in their protective case when you are not wearing them, to ensure they remain undamaged and scratch-free. Whilst our glasses are treated with a scratch-resistant coating, they are not scratch-proof, so be careful when taking them on adventures!
Our lenses should be cleaned with the included microfiber cloth or a lens-safe spray; don't use towels, t-shirts or other fabrics, as these can be abrasive to the anti-reflective coating and may cause rubbing marks or scratches over time.
You may notice that your glasses start to become loose with wear - this is perfectly normal, so don't panic! Simply pop by our fitting station, and the team will be able to tighten any loose screws and re-adjust the frame to sit perfectly on your face.
Some materials are corrosive and will damage your glasses if exposed to them; we advise you to keep your glasses away from these at all times. These include chlorine-treated water or salt-water (don't wear them in the pool or the ocean!), aerosol sprays such as hair spray, paints and solvents. If any of these substances do touch your lenses, clean them with the microfiber lens cloth and a lens-safe spray as soon as possible. Extreme heat or cold may also cause lens or frame warping, so we recommend keeping your glasses with you, especially on very hot days, rather than leaving them in the car!
